As indicated, the uniqueness of Amma's satsang is ever freshness and as lively as unpredictable. Till couple of years before, Amma preferred to hold satsang in the residence of devotees who are in close circle. We do have quite a lot photographs taken on such occasions. Such visit includes some prominent places in Chennai like Thiruvotriyur, Vengeesware Temple (Vadapalani), Avadi, etc. In terms of place or venue where the program was to be conducted, it was as interesting as knowing the sex of a child to be born (don't try for scanning since Amma does not like short cuts), in the sense that Amma visited many temples in and around Chennai and blessed the devotees. Understandably, during prior times, we would not have been taken into surprise, if satsang is fixed amidst a busy working day evenings. Of late, place, date and time of Amma's satsang sessions are predictable, but certainly not the contents or sequence of the program. Then, the most interesting part would happen where Amma gives experience of the divine flow of energy to everyone individually.Few tips on the same are recorded for the benefit of the common.
At times, Amma explains her experiences of her deep state which are words of wisdom on bhakti yoga. This would be full of practical advices and not vedanthic lectures. This would be followed by Amma's short speech to the gatherings.If time permits, Amma also chants Sri Vishnu Sahasranama (1000 names of Lord Vishnu). In case of time constraint (of devotees), Amma chants Sri Lalitha Trisathi (300 names of Goddess Lalitha). Hence, chanting of the Sri Lalitha Sahasranama (1000 names of Goddess Lalitha) is part of Amma''s satsang, wherever conducted.
